Abstract This study was to determine the tourism communication strategy of Tanjung Salib tourism object, Lirang Village, Bitung City in increasing tourist visits. In 2020, tourist attractions in Tanjung Salib have decreased quite significantly due to the COVID-19 pandemic, therefore the government is trying to increase the return of tourist visits in Tanjung Salib. Tourism is an important thing for a country. This research is a qualitative descriptive research, where the researcher looks for all the facts and in-depth evidence and then interprets them through interviews, documentation, and observation. The results of this research showed that the strategy carried out by the Lirang village government through four forms of tourism communication, namely tourism communication management, tourism transportation communication, tourism online communication and tourism marketing communication have not been optimal in increasing tourist visits so it is necessary for the Department of Tourism as a tourism stakeholder to take further action. The conclusion of this research is that the form of tourism communication in Lirang Village has been running well, as evidenced by the good cooperation between the government and the community in processing and supporting tourism.
